Holiday special: Make Your Own Bauble

What to expect

In this festive glassblowing experience, you’ll create your own glass bauble, learning the fundamentals of working with molten glass. With the guidance of an expert, you’ll shape and decorate your bauble to create a one-of-a-kind ornament to treasure or gift. It’s the perfect way to get creative and add a little handmade magic to the holiday season!

What to bring

• A water bottle and your enthusiasm!
• Comfortable clothing made from natural fibres (denim, cotton, wool, linen)
• Fully closed shoes (for safety)
• Long hair should be tied back
• If you wear glasses, please wear them instead of contact lenses

All tools, materials, and safety equipment will be provided.

Collecting your work

As hot glass requires a 24-hour annealing process for controlled cooling, please remember to add postage if you are unable to return to collect your glass birds. Alternatively your pieces will be ready for pickup starting the Wednesday following the workshop. Our opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.
