Drawn on Glass - Engraving

Guided by a teaching artist, visit the exhibition Unbroken
Connections by Megan Cope.  Inspired by
the works in the exhibition, reflect on the meaning of the word Connections and
why they are important to all of us. Think of a special connection that you
have and carries meaning to you.

Learn how to make marks on an A4 size clear glass, and hand-engrave on the surface of
glass, using age old techniques. Apply your own drawings to the exciting medium
of glass, and discover various technical means of expression through engraving. 

Have your imagination captured through the rich possibilities and skill of engraving.
The course fee includes all tools and materials.

For safety reasons, long hair must be tied back, and closed-in shoes must be worn
for all workshop activities. If you arrive with inappropriate footwear,
participation is not guaranteed.

Participants will be able to take their framed glass drawings home on the day
