Tour and Tile – Group Experience

Discover Australia's premier studio glass facility with a guided tour of Canberra Glassworks, offering insight into the art and history of glassmaking. Following the guided tour, participants will move to the studio space, where they become artists learning to cut, arrange, and fuse coloured glass to create their own kiln-formed glass memento.

Suitable for 8 + (children aged 5 to 7 years old will need to be accompanied and assisted at all times by a parent/guardian)

Safety Requirements

For safety reasons, fully enclosed footwear is mandatory. Participants wearing open shoes will not be permitted to take part in the tile-making activity.

Collection of Finished Work

All glass pieces require a 48-hour annealing process. Completed works will be
available for collection from the Canberra Glassworks foyer on the following
Wednesday between 10 am and 4 pm. Postage can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
