Birds of a Feather: Glassblowing for Two

Under the guidance of a skilled artist, you’ll both craft your own individual bird, learning the basics of glassblowing and shaping molten glass into beautiful, feathered forms.
What to Expect
In this special two-person experience, you and your partner will work together to create your own glass birds, learning the fundamentals of glassblowing. With the guidance of an expert, you’ll each shape molten glass to bring your feathered creations to life. It’s the perfect way to bond and share a creative experience!
What to Bring
- A water bottle and your enthusiasm!
- Comfortable clothing made from natural fibres (denim, cotton, wool, linen)
- Fully closed shoes (for safety)
- Long hair should be tied back
- If you wear glasses, please wear them instead of contact lenses
All tools, materials, and safety equipment will be provided.
Collecting Your Work
As hot glass requires a 24-hour annealing process for controlled cooling, please remember to add postage if you are unable to return to collect your glass birds. Alternatively your pieces will be ready for pickup starting the Wednesday following the workshop. Our opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.
