Vetro e Vino

Enjoy a unique and intimate experience at Canberra Glassworks with our Vetro e Vino couples’ session. Begin your evening with a hands-on workshop where you and your partner will each design and create a one-of-a-kind drinkware set - featuring a carafe and two tumblers - under the expert guidance of a professional artist. Working with cane in the style of the Venetian masters, you'll explore traditional glassblowing techniques while crafting elegant and distinctive pieces. Whether you're creating matching keepsakes or expressing your individual styles, this session offers a memorable and creative way to connect.

After the workshop, take a short stroll to the Kingston Foreshore and continue your evening with a delicious dinner for two at Molto Italian - a warm, waterfront restaurant known for its modern Italian fare and inviting atmosphere.

Perfect for anniversaries, special occasions, or simply a night out with a creative twist.

Thursday evenings from 5 pm.

What to bring?
To participate in this workshop you must wear fully closed shoes, clothing in natural fabrics (denim, wool, cotton, linen), and have long hair pulled back. You must wear your prescription glasses over contact lenses. All materials and safety equipment for this class will be provided. 

What will you make?
Two tumblers and a carafe. Work made in the class will be available to collect from our Gallery Shop from the Wednesday following your workshop during our opening hours, Wednesday to Sunday 10 am to 4 pm.
